Cover your back
Slash injuries caused by skates are common from junior ice hockey to professional matches. So far, there has been no way to keep protected from injuries to the back part of the leg.
The Slashless slash protection socks are a Finnish invention to prevent the occurrence of serious injuries in the area of the ankle, Achilles tendon and calf.
The slash protectors have been successfully tested by the Finnish national ice hockey team, the Kärpät league team as well as several junior teams, and the socks are being currently used by all the Oulun Kärpät juniors and the women’s league team.
When properly worn, the slash protection sock will protect the back part of the leg against slashes.
Sizes are available from juniors to seniors. See instruction manual for sizing information.
DURABLE AND LONG LASTING
The cut protection can resist extreme temperatures between -40 to +160 °C momentarily and normal machine washing.
The protection can be fastened to the sock on the outside, inside or it can be sewed into a pouch.
The skating sock coated with special elastic meshy material prevents the occurrence of serious Achilles tendon and muscular injuries in all skating sports.
The protector is made of translucent and inconspicuous material that does not hide the team colours or signs.
